How BORROR Uses brandstores for Brand Management

When BORROR approached us to create and manage their company store, we knew the quality of products would be just as important as the quality of service.

BORROR has spent the past 60 years building its reputation as a leader in property management, development, construction, and real estate. The BORROR brand is renowned because of the company’s longevity and luxury craftsmanship. Everything the BORROR logo appears on matters – whether it’s an outdoor billboard, print collateral, Facebook post, or promotional pen.

The marketing team at BORROR needed a solution to easily manage their branded promotional products and apparel. Using multiple vendors and cheap discount websites wasn’t going to cut it for a brand of BORROR’s stature. With our brandstores solution, we created an online shop where BORROR’s marketing team can easily order promotional products for a variety of uses.

We’ve hired a new team member! We welcome Stephanie Morton to the Outreach Promotional Solutions team as a Marketing and Design Specialist. We asked Stephanie a few questions to get to know her better:

 

1. What three traits define you?

Enthusiastic, Creative, Confident

2. What are you most excited for in your new role?

Working with different types of clients and through that, developing my skills as a graphic designer.

3. What is one thing you cannot resist?

Beer, shopping at IKEA, stationary, pink things…

4. Best place you’ve traveled to and why?

Ireland! It’s so green! Everything they say about it is true; The people are so hospitable and the food is amazing. Not to mention those accents…

5. If you could be anyone who would you be?

I would be Josh Turner’s wife because I love him. Or I would be Celine Dion!

6. Tell us something that might surprise us about you!

I have a couple:

  • I feel like I imitate Celine Dion pretty well- catch me at karaoke!
  • I really wanted to be a police officer but was told by one that I wouldn’t cut it.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that we have been selected as a 2017 Corporate Caring Awards Finalist, for the fifth year in a row! Among the 70 nominations, we are thrilled to be a finalist. We are so honored to be recognized for all of our contributions to the Columbus community and beyond.

About the Event

The Corporate Caring Awards honor for-profit companies for their financial contributions, volunteer service and other unique contributions to Columbus’ charities and nonprofit organizations. A total of 70 nominations were received in the 2017 Awards program. Of the finalists, judges will choose 15 Corporate Caring honorees this year, including Benefactor of the Year, all to be announced at the Awards Reception and Nonprofit Information Exchange on Wednesday, June 21 at the Grand Event Center at Grandview Yard.  Click for more information and to register for the event.

Why We Give Back

We believe that the nonprofit community is an important factor in driving the economy and improving the well-being of our community. We also believe that giving back is good for business and employee satisfaction.  Through team volunteering, direct sponsorship, social media features and our annual Tailgate for Charity event, our hope is to make a positive impact, while also generating engagement for our business within the community.  Being named a Corporate Caring Awards Finalist validates our team’s efforts in giving back.

Nevin Bansal appointed to Greater Cleveland Partnership Board

Nevin Bansal, President & CEO of Outreach Promotional Solutions has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Greater Cleveland Partnership, effective June 2017.   With more than 8,000 members, the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) is one of the largest metropolitan chambers of commerce in the country. GCP works to advance economic development and improve the business climate in Northeast Ohio and across the region.

Nevin has been a Board member for the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), the small business arm of GCP for several years, and is currently an Executive Committee Member.   In addition, Nevin sits on the Small Business Council for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce as well as the Alumni Board for the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Nevin appointment to the GCP Board strengthens his commitment to helping influence and improve the business climate in Ohio.  “I’m excited to join this distinguished group of leaders that represent large, mid-size and small organizations in Northeast Ohio.  The work of GCP is so important to the vitality of the region and I’m looking forward to contributing to the organization.”
